The Importance of Mental Health
Poor mental health reduces cognitive function. Hence, we should all strive to maintain our mental health. According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, mental health is the state of being sound mentally and emotionally that is characterized by a lack of mental illness as well as by sufficient adjustment, specifically that which is evident in feeling comfortable with oneself, having positive feelings towards others and the ability to meet the demands of daily living.
